MGR Foamtex's scientific approach to the health and comfort of seating has led to the installation of their Multi-Postural Seating (MPS) systems in both of Cathay Pacific's new premium class cabins.

Using their ongoing research programme to develop seats and beds with fewer pressure points, MGR Foamtex worked closely with Cathay Pacific and their design teams to create premium seats that could be scientifically tested to show how significant the improvements in comfort and health actually are.

Commenting on MGR Foamtex' role, CEO Les Simpson said,

“The products we supplied included our MPS system and PEGS, a unique cushion locater, for both premium cabins and our Style Covers in all cabins. On a project like this our aim was not just to supply the best product range. We supported the client and other team members at every stage and in every way we could– from research and design through compliance testing and certification to manufacturing and installation and even monitoring passengers' reactions in conjunction with the client.
